LUVURPUG HEALTH GUARANTEE
Section I: SELLER OBLIGATIONS
This puppy is a purebred Pug registerable with the __________________Kennel Club. Upon execution of this contract, the seller does hereby convey title and interest in the described PUG puppy to the buyer (except for the terms listed herein).
LUVURPUG Kennels has made every effort to provide you with a healthy puppy. Breeder guarantees that all vaccinations and worming are current.
At the time of sale, this puppy is considered to be** PET QUALITY**. LUVURPUG Kennels offers no guarantee that this puppy does not have disqualifying faults that would make this puppy unsuitable for the show ring or for breeding purposes.
It is the Buyer’s responsibility to have this puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice within 48 hours of taking possession of this puppy. If the sale transaction takes place on Friday and Monday is a holiday, the Buyer will be given an extra 24 hours to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian. If this puppy is found to have a life -threatening congenital defect or health problem at this exam, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given if available, if there is not a puppy available, then a 100% refund will be given, provided the Breeder is contacted immediately (within 24 hours) after the exam, and this puppy is promptly returned to LUVURPUG Kennels, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from the veterinarian stating the defect or problem. Registration papers given at the time of sale must accompany the returned puppy to LUVURPUG Kennels.
***LUVURPUG Kennels will refund the purchase price, pending verification by the breeder's veterinarian.
Breeder further guarantees this puppy for 12 months (from the date of birth) against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a LIFE THREATENING congenital defect is found, Breeder will replace this puppy with another of the same quality and sex. Please note that due to a higher than average incidence of Demodectic mange found in Pugs, Demodex in any form is NOT covered in this health guarantee.
Section 2: BUYER’S OBLIGATIONS
Buyer swears that he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this animal and that it will remain solely in his/her custody. Buyer further swears that he/she is not associated with a pet shop or animal broker.
The buyer agrees to care for this dog as would a humane and conscientious dog owner and agrees to the following:
1) Because of the variety and quality of dog foods available, and all canine illness are NOT covered by vaccination, we strongly recommend that all LUVURPUG Kennels dogs/puppies be kept on "NuVet Plus Canine." This Nutritional Supplement is only available through breeder recommendation. As only life-threatening congenital defects (defects that your puppy is born with) are covered under our health guarantee, it is in your and your puppy's best interest to do all that you can to ward off the threat of contractible illnesses and conditions and that is why we recommend this Nutritional Supplement. 2) If the puppy is shipped to the buyer, it is the buyer’s responsibility to return the breeder’s copy of the signed Health Guarantee/Sales Contract to the breeder within 1 week of shipping.
*****NOTE: IF THE BREEDERS COPY OF THE HEALTH GUARANTEE/SALES CONTRACT IS NOT RETURNED TO THE BREEDER WITHIN 1 WEEK THE GUARANTEE/SALES CONTRACT IS NULL AND VOID, AND YOUR PUPPY/PUPPIES WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED.
3) Buyer is to ensure that proper veterinary care is given immediately, including but not limited to; injuries, illness, annual checkups, keeping all immunizations current according to the American Veterinary Medical Association Guidelines and kept on heartworm preventative as per veterinarian instructions.
4) Buyer is to provide adequate housing for this dog within the buyer’s home and yard.
5) Buyer is to provide adequate exercise by providing the dog with supervised walking and running on a regular basis.
6) Provide safe vehicle transport. The buyer must not at any time transport the animal in the open cargo area of a vehicle. EX: back of a pick up truck.
7) Feed the dog a good quality pet food.. Instructions for feeding as given by the breeder or similar to.
8) All expenses regarding the animal including: shipping of the animal, proper care,veterinary fees, housing or legal liabilities are the responsibility of the buyer at whose home the animal will reside.
9) The buyer agrees to inform LUVURPUG Kennels of any titles or awards obtained by the animal for our breeding records.
***The breeder will accept the return of this dog at any time the purchaser declines to keep said dog. However, the breeder is not obligated to refund any of the purchase price, except as stated in conditions above.
***We recommend keeping your puppy’s contacts limited until 12 weeks of age or as recommended by your veterinarian as their immunities need adequate time to build.
***This contract is valid for the original purchaser that purchased the dog from LUVURPUG Kennels. If the dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void, as the breeder has no way of knowing how the dog is cared for or to whom the puppy would be placed with.
***Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract except as stated above.
