Dear Buyer,
Firstly, we want to thank you for choosing to purchase a puppy from us. Our family has made every effort to provide you with a happy, healthy Pug puppy that will provide your family with years of joy and companionship. We try to go above and beyond other breeders in that we offer a replacement puppy if a life-threatening genetic defect is found in your Pug within its first year of life. This is called a ‘health guarantee’ but the terminology can be misleading, as we cannot possibly know with 100% certainty that your puppy won’t have one until the symptoms first arise. We obviously would not sell a puppy that had obvious life-threatening health issues. We only breed healthy adults that are available for your scrutiny at any time.
We have listed on our 'health issues' web page various illnesses not uncommon to the Pug breed in order to keep our potential adoptive families aware of possible health issues that you as a Pug parent may see in your Pug at some point in their life time. None of our Pugs used in our breeding program nor their parents have ever required any veterinary treatment for any of the genetic health issues listed on the 'health issues' page. This means we have screened two generations prior to breeding your puppy's parents.
