From time to time, I will have the occasional adult that is in need of a loving home. There are different circumstances that can place one of my adults up for adoption and age is not necessarily always the reason. I retire my females no later than the age of 6 years old so they still have a lot of life left. I also will not breed any female that has ever required a C-section after that breeding so a female could be as young as 2 years old. All of my adults will have been spayed/neutered prior to placement in their new homes. I do not advertise my adults individually. Rather, I review email requests for an adult Pug and will let potential adoptive families know if I believe I have one that is suited to their family and lifestyle. There is a fee for my adults so as to keep them from becoming 'disposable' (people aren't quick to get rid of a dog they have invested in) and to cover medical expenses incurred for their spaying/neutering.
